List of accessibility features:
- Skip to main content.
- First tab keypress focuses and shows a link to skip to the main content. This allows keyboard users to skip over the navigation elements.
- Breadcrumbs according to WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices 1.1 (completely based off of their example)
- Separators between links are purely visual decoration created with CSS that isn't read by screen readers.
- Indicated to users of screenreaders with
aria-label="Breadcrumb"
- Current page in breadcrumb indicated by
aria-current="page"
- Semantically indicated as a
<nav>
element
- Semantic HTML5 tags.
- ARIA landmark roles.
- Text Contrast Ratio meets WCAG 2.0 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) Level AA Guidelines
- Currently, previously visited links that are hovered is the only text that doesn't meet Level AAA (in Chrome).
